| It’s the day before a big client presentation and your team FINALLY gave you all the assets you need to organize for the presentation. Now you are stuck with the daunting task of assembling a professional presentation or risk losing the client. Sound familiar? This hands-on session is your solutions. We will explore creating rich and engaging client presentation using Adobe PDF Portfolios. PDF Portfolios were an addition to Adobe Acrobat 9 and make client presentations a breeze. We’ll start by examining all the types of assets we can incorporate into a portfolio. We’ll add documents, format and color-correct a few images, create some simple Flash animations, edit some video, and wrap everything into a beautiful PDF Portfolio. No prior experience is necessary. Attendees will need to have Adobe Creative Suite CS4 installed (either licensed or trial version). Laptop rental is available for those who do not have Create Suite CS4. |

We’ll explore all the different ways to make your custom PDF Portfolio stand apart from the rest. PDF Portfolios are very easy to customize with the right tools. We’ll color correct and size a few images with Photoshop. We’ll use Flash to create a couple fun banner animations and incorporate some video. We’ll even work a little with sound and really make the PDF Portfolio pop. In the end, everything will be wrapped in a nicely customized navigator and look fantastic as it’s presented to the client. No prior experience is necessary. We’ll be using a lot of the tools inside Adobe Creative Suite CS4 but also look at some free options for image and sound editing. |

The internet is swiftly eroding the sales of the printed magazine. Advertising agencies are moving their add dollars from print to the web where their advertising can be tracked for performance. Publishers are now experimenting with electronic versions of their magazines. Customers can now create custom publications choosing chapters of various books to make one downloadable book targeted to their interests. |
